About Shooting Colombia

This was a journey into the unknown and, the untold. Armed only with cameras, 12 people from different nationalities, backgrounds and walks of life agreed to take part in an experiment, to experience the true Colombia. Told to leave their pre-conceptions at home they documented the truth exactly as they saw it. Witness the unimaginable places, the characters and the experience of a lifetime as they saw it.

Where are the photos? Each of the travelers was to shoot one day..where can I see their photos?

Thank you for this video. My friend Mónica is born in Colombia and now living in the Netherlands. The video gave me a nice and informative tour through her country and background and roots. It was a very nice experience to make this little trip !

I think it´s interesting if we see it knowing that we live in a complex context and knowing that there is a political interest behind these iniciatives. Nevertheless, I think that it´s important that colombian people (more than foreigners) learns to appreciate several aspects of our country. And to love it for real, with its qualities and faults. Maybe that will give us the strength to face our social problems.

Criticar es fácil... decir que hay cosas malas también... Lo difícil y lo que no hacemos todos es precisamente HACER ALGO, muchos poquitos hacen un mucho y si cambiamos un poco la imagen que tenemos, podemos atraer más gente que venga a Colombia y ayude a crear empleo. Muchas gracias por lo que están haciendo.

Me gusta, es cierto la realidad no es la maravilla en Colombia, pero estos esfuerzos funcionan y por lo menos nos hacen ver quienes somos y que tenemos, cosa que sea cual sea la historia y actualidad del pais, no se nos va a quitar, y pues Sebastian, deberias pensar en irte, si es que ya no estas lejos..

No estoy de acuerdo con el comentario de Sebastian.. ya que de cualquier manera colombia tiene muchas realidades...los que estamos mejor que otros no significa no somos conscientes del pais en que vivimos y en la responsabilidad que tenemos, pero y entonces; por los problemas que tenemos , estamos condenados a ser un simple estereotipo del narcotrafico y la violencia??? no se trata de que nos "importe" o no lo que piense el resto del mundo.. se trata de como esa visión puede darle un lugar diferente a colombia y todos los colombianos. Ademas simplemente se trata de sar otro punto de vista, otra forma de ver a un país del que el mundo muy bien sabe como es en sus peores y mas oscuros momentos. Ademas con actitudes como esa, lejos de construir algo simplemente se colabora con un grupo de inconformes criticos que al final no aportan ni siquiera una refelxion a la autoexaminacion. Yo que me considero una buena colombiana, jamás negaria los problemas que tenemos, pero tampoco diria que somos una sociedad narcisista cuando yo soy la que tiene o no que cambiar para que las cosas mejoren.
