About Shooting Colombia

This was a journey into the unknown and, the untold. Armed only with cameras, 12 people from different nationalities, backgrounds and walks of life agreed to take part in an experiment, to experience the true Colombia. Told to leave their pre-conceptions at home they documented the truth exactly as they saw it. Witness the unimaginable places, the characters and the experience of a lifetime as they saw it.

Great project! I wish the video was longer! but thanks for showing the beauty of my country, which unfortunately has been darken by international media.

Jose: Not sure why you have not been able to see the doc. Have you tried using another browser? You might also want to download the latest Flash player. I have a MAC and have no problem.

Hey guys, I received an email from you today (Oct. 8, 2009) letting me know the video was available for viewing but I came to the site and I don't know where to press to see it. I have a Mac, tho, so I don't know if that is an issue. Please let me know.

Alan, this is amazing! I know how much you love your country and I'm so glad that you came up with such a clever way to help by bringing a group of people to experience it first hand. Colombia is a beautiful country with an enormous potential for tourism and I hope this project will help to change people's minds and preconceptions. Un abrazo, Laura

Shooting Colombia brought back memories of my time in my mother's country. It also gave me new ideas for my upcoming trip in December (Tyrona, eje cafetero). I'm bringing an American friend and can't wait to get back.
